Introducing our third featured designer, Jennie from Clover and Violet! We love her zippered case and fun sense of style. Be sure to read to the bottom as she is giving away a fun prize!
One of my favorite projects to make as gifts are the Flora supply cases. This quick sew pattern has lots of pockets in a little space, and can be easily customized as well. The body uses Soft & Stable to keep it's shape, while still opening and closing easily.
Inside the case are fabric pockets, mesh pockets, and a zipper pencil pouch. The pattern is in three sizes to coordinate with the three sizes of planners, but this case could be used for so many other purposes too. Sewing kit, English Paper Piecing supplies, art supplies, makeup, or a first aid kit. The large size also fits a mini iPad perfectly, and the smallest size makes a great wallet too. One of the great things about this pouch too, is it's construction allows for customization too. The pattern calls for Fold Over Elastic, but binding and regular elastic can easily be substituted for the mesh pocket as well. And, of course, fabric could easily be substituted for the mesh.
The outside is also a great place to add customization and make this a unique gift.
If you'd like to see some of the great other versions of the case the testers and everyone else have made, click here to view the tag #florasupplycase on Instagram. Thanks for taking a moment to check out the pattern, I hope you enjoy it!
What a fun little case. Jennie wants to offer one of you a Flora Supply Case package! She has offered to give away a copy of the pattern as well as a mini charm pack, mesh, and fold over elastic. So sweet!
