Road to California: Abbey Lane Quilts

Today we are thrilled to hear from Marcea at Abbey Lane Quilts

We loved her use of the fabric in this bag and enjoyed reading her answers to our questions.

Marcea has also generously offered four patterns to give away and a discount code, so keep reading to enter!

Bag Introduction Questions

1. What is the name of your company and what is the name of the bag?

We are Abbey Lane Quilts and our bag is The Mckenzie Bag.

2. What was your inspiration for this bag & for the way you used the Road to California fabric?

The bag is large, but has a design that makes it very fashionable and it shows off a large print fabric really well.
3. For what do you recommend the bag be used & what are its features?

Because of its size, it can be used for almost anything. It has great accents and hardware adn large grommets which give it a professional look.

4. Is there anything special about the bag construction? If so, can you provide a brief description of what is special and how it was done?

The instructions are very straight forward and easy to follow.

5. What components did you use and why did you choose them?

We used large grommets as an accent and a fun hook on the inside strap for an extra touch. We think it is the little extras that make the difference.

6. Is there a pattern?

*YES! You can find it here:
