Melissa's Thoughts on Soft and Stable

Designer Melissa Stramel recently wrote a post about using Soft and Stable for the first time. You can find it here: http://melissaslilaclane.blogspot.com/2012/07/joy-bag-class.html.
I enjoyed seeing Melissa's "JOY" bag — it makes me joyful just looking at it. The appliqued flowers at the top are a really nice touch. Thanks for sharing, Melissa!

Rosalee's Serenity II Bag

Rosalee wrote recently to say, "Just wanted to say I made a purse using your pattern Serenity II, Soft and Stable, and Texture Magic, and love how it came out--have received lots of compliments! Thank you so much for the great products and service!"
Thank you for sending in your picture, Rosalee. Your purse was crafted beautifully. I always love seeing the different fabrics that people use to make the Serenity Shoulder Bag.
Edie K. recently shared this picture of the On the Town handbag that she made using fabrics from Mother Superior's Fab Fabrics, our area's newest fabric shop.
LOVE the bag, Edie -- your fabric choices are terrific!
Phyllis writes: "I just wanted to send you a thank you to say how much I have enjoyed making bags using your patterns. The Soft and Stable is wonderful. I would have never attempted bags, but your supplies and videos inspired me. Everyone I make one for loves how unique they are as I use Texture Magic and quilting. I have attached (pictures of) two of my latest bags. The one with flames is for a friend who wanted something for his wife with Harley colors."
"Thanks again. I enlarged the MiPad Case bag and made it for my two granddaughters and put their favorite sayings on the pockets. Then my daughter had a co-worker who wanted one larger than the iPad. This bag was a big hit and I am now getting ready to start my sixth and seventh bag."
Thanks for sharing your story and pictures, Phyllis. Keep up the good work!
