We have a winner!

Thank you to everyone who participated so enthusiastically in my Valentine's Giveaway. We had 30 comments and 138 entries!

I filled out a slip for each entry and put them in a plastic bin. After some energetic shakes, I mixed things up really well and had my friend, Jan, pick an entry.

And the winner is. . . . GWEN!

Gwen earned five entries -- she did it all! -- so I guess that really helped. I enjoyed reading Gwen's blog. Beautiful work, Gwen! It looks like Gwen is a quilter who enjoys applique, so I think she will really enjoy learning both of these great techniques.

I'm trying hard to get the new pattern finished for the Texture Magic Totes before I leave for Asilomar, so guess I'd better get going on that. Wish me luck!

Happy stitching!

Annie

  1. Wow, I'm so excited that I won, and I do like doing applique and can't wait to try out your methods, I'm sure they will be much easier than the way I do it now.
Thank-you for the nice coments on my work and my blog, I'm glad you enjoyed reading it.
I have sent you an e-mail with my mailing address, if you don't get it please let me know.
I look forward to getting the package in the mail...yahhooo!!

  2. Hi Annie, I'm glad to have discovered your blog. I took EQ6 classes from you and really learned a lot. I love Superior Thread, I sell it on my website and I hold a degree in Threadology. I look forward to learning more from you.

  3. Congrats to the lucky winner! Seems like I was a bit too late to enter.

So Annie, is there a stand up quilting machine in your future? I was hooked the first time I tried one, and now can't imagine quilting with my domestic machine.

    Happy Quilting, Carla
